What's On In The Theatre?

As a make up artists it's always good to be aware of what shows are on at all of your local theatres. Here are some interesting shows that are coming up in the Glasgow/Edinburgh areas!

The Tron Theatre (Glasgow)

Cardinal Sinne (22nd Nov - 1st Oct)


A religious romp presented in a mix of traditional comic farce, serious soliloquy and ludicrous litany, Cardinal Sinne will investigate the root and responsibility of institutions in their perpetuation of sexual inequality and bias.



Royal Lyceum (Edinburgh)

The BFG (28th Nov - 1st Jan)


The Big Friendly Giant captures dreams and keeps them in bottles for children to enjoy whilst they sleep. He is unlike other giants. For a start, he doesn't like to eat people! Join the BFG and his new best friend – little orphan Sophie – and help them save the children of Britain from the child-eating giants!



Citizens Theatre (Glasgow)


A Christmas Carol (29th Nov - 3rd Jan)




Ebenezer Scrooge is a notoriously bitter old man who is determined not to let Christmas interfere with his miserly routine.  A feared figure throughout the streets of London he is unmoved by any pleas for charity. But one Christmas Eve, Scrooge receives some unexpected supernatural visitors who are determined to show him the true spirit of Christmas and the error of his ways.
